Paragon Driving School (PDS) offers the 8-hour Virginia Driver Manual Course. This course helps candidates preparing for the DMV Knowledge Test by familiarizing them with the Virginia Driver Manual. It's specifically designed for those who have failed the DMV Knowledge test three times and need to re-establish eligibility to retake the test. This course is open to individuals of all ages.

To enroll in the Driver Manual class, teens aged 17 and under must provide a certificate of completion proving they have previously successfully completed the 30-hour / 36-period Driver Education classroom course. This certificate can be obtained in different ways:

• In public schools, it's known as the Certificate of Completion - Classroom Driver Education, DEC-1 "green card."
• In commercial driving schools, it's referred to as the Virginia Driver Training Certificate of Classroom Completion DTS 36.
• Online Driver's Education providers approved by the Virginia DMV issue their own certificate, which must be presented for admission to the Driver Manual course
